Google Developer Student Clubs

Google Developer Student Clubs are university based community groups for students interested in Google developer technologies. Students from all undergraduate or graduate programs with an interest in growing as a developer are welcome. By joining a GDSC, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community.

Mission

  1. To bridge the gap between theory and practice.
  2. To foster the ability to give back to society with the help of technology.
  3. To create an ideal environment for learners in and around the campus.
  4. To throw light on various technological advancements and how they will enrich our future.
  5. To imbibe a sense of responsibility amongst students by making them understand the importance of collectively and effectively working in a team.

Vision

  1. To create a space for students, ranging from novice developers who are just starting, to advanced developers who want to further their skills where they can learn and collaborate as they solve real-world problems.
  2. To advance developer skills by encouraging students to participate in various events and workshops

Goal

  1. Connect: Meet other students on campus interested in developer technologies. All are welcome, including those with diverse backgrounds and different majors
  2. Learn: about a wide range of technical topics where new skills are gained through hands-on workshops, in-person training and project building activities.
  3. Grow: Apply your new learnings and connections to build great solutions for local problems. Advance your skills, career and network. Give back to your community by helping others learn as well.
